Three symbols also appear to be carved on the edge of the table; the first being a seascape representing water, the second the element of fire and the third is a dove. The dove is a Christian symbol for the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit creates the fifth element. At the top of the table leg, there are three letters which look like spells vin, latin for ‘wilt thou?’, the question that the Magician poses. The yellow background symbolises that this is an intellectual card, and using your wit, mind and communication skills is going to be favorable. This card represents will, initiations and beginnings.

    Hi Inger,

    Hi Inger,

I pulled 10 cards for someone I met. A strong attraction hit me so suddenly, the last thing I was expecting. Chances for anything between us are about 0% for a lot of complicated reasons. I feel this person also has an attraction to me and we were meant to meet. I didn’t know what specific spread to use? Just wanted to know if we were meant to meet and if you see a mutual attraction. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!

  32. Angie September 3, 2017 at 6:26 am

    Hi Inger,

For a while I’ve wondered if my ex is someone other than I think he is. I often wonder if I’m too entangled in my own emotions to see clearly or if I am being manipulated at every turn with him. Part of me doesn’t want to believe it, but the other part of me gets so angry. I can’t distinguish if it’s all in my head or if there’s some truth to my concerns. I have really struggled to cut him out of my life. I asked the cards to tell me who he really is. Can you help me interpret them? As always, thanks for all you do and your guidance. Words can’t express how much I appreciate all you’ve done for me.

    General spread:

    Overview – queen of cups
    Strength
    Hierophant
    Three of wands reversed
    Magician reversed
    Hermit

  33. Inger Bråthen September 3, 2017 at 7:19 am

This person is a love fraud. What you describe is text book what happens to people who have been victims of these kinds of manipulators. THe confusion, the self-doubt, wondering if you are going crazy, and the constant circle of going back and forth. These people are almost impossible to cut out of your life, they always come back to create more havoc, UNTIL you see him for exactly what he is. The magician reversed is the tarot telling you this guy is a big liar. This website helps many in your situations: https://lovefraud.com/

  34. Angie September 5, 2017 at 12:39 am

    Thanks, Inger.

I’ve suspected this for so long, but I didn’t trust myself because he’s so good at talking me out of my perceptions. I’ll read through the site you provided. This really helped me. Xoxo

  35. Inger Bråthen September 5, 2017 at 4:16 pm

🙂 I am so happy to have helped 🙂 You need to stay safe! Lots of love Ingie

  36. Helena Samu September 9, 2017 at 12:35 am

    Dear Inger,

since the last two days I’m obsessed to find out if I shall continue to yearn after my crush, or just stop here, and cut the cords, I figured to ask the cards what are the obstacles being together w him. I got The High Priestess, Ace of Pentacles and The Magican. WoW! I don’t know if a shall cry or smile…looks like a soul mate connection, but how is it an obstacle? Sorry, for so many questions!
    Love

  37. Jo September 9, 2017 at 10:58 am

    Hello,

What does Magician (Reversed) + Judgment mean? I did a general tarot 4 cards asking where to go next in my life, or what is up next? Not sure if it’s related but I fell for someone who is not of my sexual orientation, and told him anyway, basically saying that I’m up for the friendship if he’s interested. No reply but I’m not blocked either. Because he is a super nice person or so I assume, I am surprised by the no reaction.

    So.

    1) Devil (that card is supposed to be me)
    2) Empress (Reversed) (that card is supposed to be the exterior, the other, etc)
    3) Magician (Reversed) (the present)
    4) Judgment (the future)

Adding all this gives The Hanging Man (solution or tarot’s advice)

It’s mostly Judgement following magician reversed that I wonder about. But also my question was about what to do next in general, I didn’t ask about love. But that infatuation is on my mind a lot.

  38. Inger Bråthen September 9, 2017 at 1:36 pm

Sometimes not getting what we want is exactly what we need. The cards you got are telling you that the obstacle is a soulmate connection, however, it can be a soulmate connection you have not yet met, and if you hook up with your crush you will miss out on this soulmate connection that seems to be the real deal.

  39. Inger Bråthen September 9, 2017 at 1:42 pm

The Magician often shows up reversed when someone is not what they seem so be careful. When it comes to what to do in general, I feel now is a time for you to invent something in your life by being creative. Focus on your hobbies/interest and see where this will take you. Use your imagination. The Hanged Man often shows up when people have talents in communication and writing.

  40. Jo September 10, 2017 at 9:30 am

Interesting Inger. Thank you so much for this, you’re a real sweetheart. After what you said, I picked one card asking “so, show me the portrait of that person then”. I picked The Moon. Wow!

    Cheers!!

  41. Helena Samu September 14, 2017 at 5:06 pm

    Dear Inger,

thank you for all your support to understand my layouts and more!…I could’t respond to your answer right away, about having obsacle in a soulmate connection by having an other one. Still processing….But I really want to thank you, because your answer helped me to see that I don’t have to become anything more who I really am and put so much effort to be someone whom I think I should develop to be and be able to be in a desired relationship. Letting go all those pressures and wantings is real freedom! To see that I have two parts, one is not ready to let him go and the other one is to ready to move on and be okay with it. To accept that the love I am craving for is here in me. I can love myself and feeling good about it. Let all the pressure go from me from him is beautiful. Peaceful. Confusing. Sometimes I get confused because I am still in the prosess…but thank you to shed some light on it.
    Love: HS

  46. Cat October 8, 2017 at 1:27 am

I’m needing help with the magician and death card, both upside down together. It is in regards to a questionable relationship.

  47. Inger Bråthen October 8, 2017 at 9:21 am

Always we careful when you get reversed Magician, because this card can mean the person is not what they seem.

  48. Inger Bråthen October 8, 2017 at 12:52 pm

Always take extra care when the Magician shows up reversed because it often means that someone is not what they seem. Death reversed can also mean that things are not what they seem and you must be very careful how you proceed.

  49. Claudia October 10, 2017 at 1:45 am

Dear Inger, What does it mean to have the magician, knight of pentacles, king of pentacles, ten of sword and seven of wands in a reading to describe the personality of a male person?

  51. Inger Bråthen October 15, 2017 at 8:30 am

Hi. I feel you will meet through a business venture, something you are very passionate about. 🙂

  52. Inger Bråthen October 15, 2017 at 9:35 am

Hi. This person is gifted and spiritually inclined but he has invested too much into a (false) belief that is working against him and this belief is weakening him and making him overly emotional.
