Hi Inger, I asked the question what is this persons true romantic feelings towards me and received the following cards in a celtic cross spread: page coin- he only likes the way I look, hanged man- now is not a good time to act,10 coin -action?, 3sword (distant past) he no longer feels let down by me, Emperor – recent past ? 2 cups- there could be a romantic future, 2 wands (me) I took action and feel really pleased with myself, Fool (him) he is not someone I should trust my heart to, 6 swords -a way will be paved and we may become friends and the outcome 2 swords- he is acting disinterested to save himself from emotional pain. Does my interpretation ring true with you? Also what is the Emperor energy as a recent past & 10 coin energy as action?

Hi, Judy. This card combination can mean there is a focus on love in your life at the moment and you need someone who shares your spiritual beliefs and values. This can mean that you will need some time to develop a relationship with this person, and you will need time to focus on each other, and communicate clearly with each other.

Hi, this card combination can mean there will be some difficulties for a while in love. The Seeker has good intentions but is dragged into drama.

    Hello,

This card was an answer to the question “should I trust person X?” And it is a confusing answer. Does it simply confirm that I already do not trust X, or does it tell me not to trust X?

  6. Inger Bråthen February 20, 2017 at 8:35 am

Two of swords suggests that you should trust X until this person gives you a reason not to. 🙂

  7. Tanya February 21, 2017 at 1:17 am

    Thank you, Inger !

It is telling you to trust this person and only see what is truly going on rather than imagining things that isn’t going on. Two of swords indicate this person is fair.

Isn’t the 2 of swords indicate a decision is/needs to be made, or coming to a crossroad in life?

  10. Inger Bråthen February 28, 2017 at 7:42 am

Yes, it can be. But in two of swords the Seeker is often bidding time to see if a third option will present itself, or if someone will make the decision for them, or if they will be able to see things clearer in the near future. 🙂

Hi Inger! I love your site, a friend got me into tarot but I think without your site I would have lost interest 🙂

I get 2 of Swords a lot in my readings on my long distance love issue! He seemed to really like me, even talking about marriage (although I never wanted that) but since an argument about something his friends told him is safe and I disagreed with, he removed me from skype, didnt wish me on any occasion and didnt reply my 4-5 messages during these 7 months.. I think he knows my feelings are solid and real and is just taking advantage of it.. I even saw pics of him with his friends and another girl and one with her and her dad.. I know I shouldnt care and I try not to care but I’ve been through stuff in my life and this again made me lose faith in love and people.. Im not well with my health at all and I just want to resolve my issues and be at peace.. I think the 2 of Swords might show this indecision and yeah it bugs me seeing it again and again xDD lol

It’s always similar cards more or less- 7 and 8 of pentacles show for months and have started reappearing, the Queen of Cups I call my card and is a new “regular” usually in high power position and lately the 5 of wands and 7 of wands..I do a reading every week/10days online but this is a reading my best friend did for me:

(Love and me) 8 of Pentacles,
    (Situation) Queen of Cups,
    (Challenges) Hermit,
    (Recent Past) 5 of Wands,
    (Higher Power) 7 of Cups,
    (Near Future) 6 of Wands,
    (Issues) King of Swords,
(The Loved One) 3 of Pentacles,
    (Love Advice) 7 of Pentacles,
(Long Term Pontential) Page of Wands

in my sister’s reading, 6 of Wands was in Advice position and 2 of Swords as Long term potential.. I really dont understand those two cards so, the whole message gets lost on me..

Sorry for length, Have a wonderful month! <3

Hi, RiRi. In love, Two of swords often shows up when there is a love interest, even a soulmate, right in front of us, that we are not seeing because we are focusing on someone or something else. I feel like your soulmate is very close. This is someone who will offer you love, nurturing and security. I feel like this is someone who is very worldly and also an educated person who can sometimes be like an intellectual almost. I feel like you will know who this person is in between 10-12 months from now….:)
