Five of wands tarot card meanings summary

There is a time to follow and there is a time to lead. The Five of wands tarot card speaks of a time where you are somewhere in between. You are not sure if you are ready to lead, but you are not trusting in who to follow either. The result is often bickering and pity conflicts. One of you will have to take the lead, even if it means sticking your neck out. If you don’t like the leader, and you don’t want to be a leader, you might end up a loner. Find out who you are and what you believe in, and your life will become so much easier. You are not meant to follow everyone, however, you are not meant to fight everyone either. Finding out who you are and believing in yourself will make you less argumentative and more able to stand on your own two feet.

does five of wands mean that the person is trying to avoid you? is it a bad card for a relationship?

  2. Inger Bråthen November 4, 2016 at 4:33 am

Five of wands often show up when someone is bickering. In relationship, it can mean you are figuring out where you stand with each other.

  3. Sonseray November 16, 2016 at 8:25 pm

I got this in reversed as “how someone sees me” romantically along with the upright sun. However, your description in the reversal is not how I am at all. So, I’m trying to find out another meaning in reversed because I was told that this could also mean the person will choose you amongst others that are competing for affection.

  4. Inger Bråthen November 17, 2016 at 6:07 am

I think the meaning is this person has the ‘wrong’ impression of you. This person sees you as five of wands reversed, but as you said, that is not who you are at all. The good news is, the Sun appeared next to it, meaning the person will soon see the real you, and get a new impression that is true to who you are.

Hi Inger , me and my best friend took our relationship to another level. He is separated and playing the field.
He really wanted the best for me. So I’m being distant so I won’t fall him.
I asked how he feels for me I received judgement + hierophant And 5 of wands in regards to feelings towards me. Do you know how I should readi that ?

  10. Inger Bråthen February 19, 2017 at 1:45 pm

This card combination can mean he wants to be nurtured by you, and he wants someone to look after him. He might want the benefits of a relationship without the commitment. He is not letting you go, and you must make sure you get a commitment, which he might not yet be ready for.

    Thank You so much

Any idea what that could mean?

  13. Inger Bråthen April 1, 2017 at 2:42 am

Hi, this card combination can mean that maybe one person’s personality is domineering the relationship and the other person might feel like their individuality is not allowed to come out as much as this person would like to.

  14. Sophie April 4, 2017 at 6:38 am

Page of cups and 5 of wands in regards to my ex who suddenly went cold after we were on decent speaking terms?

  15. Inger Bråthen April 6, 2017 at 10:02 am

Page of cups and 5 of wands can mean he has taken something to heart that was said.

  16. Col May 24, 2017 at 9:31 pm

I’m really struggling with figuring this combination out. I got the 5 of wands reversed and knight of cups reversed in advice on whether to contact a guy I’m dating but has gone quiet (they fell out together) then clarified with 8 of cups reversed and the world card.

  17. Inger Bråthen May 25, 2017 at 8:37 am

The reversed cards are telling you to take a step back and wait until this person contacts you, or wait until you know for sure what you really want. 8 of cups reversed can mean you have been sacrificing too much in personal relationships, and the World card means you will step up in your life and be the person you were always meant to be, but that also means, you must expect more of the people who wants to stay in your life.

  18. Candyy May 29, 2017 at 5:36 am
