Hermit tarot card love meaning

The Hermit tarot card Love meaning.

Is the Hermit a good card to get in a question about your love life?

The Hermit is the card for letting go of old baggage, and to move forward free from emotional attachments to the past. The Hermit denotes a new beginning in your love life.

You have turned a corner and you are letting go of an old way of life. The Hermit is someone who gives from his/hers soul and is only interested in deep, soulful and meaningful relationships. This is someone who will connect with you one on one, and the relationship is doing great as long as it is just the two of you. When life is busy this relationship might suffer. The Hermit can be your rock, but only when he/she is actual there. The Hermit in a love reading denotes a relationship that will be tested a bit before it reaches a comfortable level. You might feel like you want to elope and disappear from the rest of the world. The trick is to keep the relationship going during the mundane day-to-day life. When you are tucked away far from the mainstream way of life you are as close as ever, but when life catches up with you what happens then? Often the magic seems to disappear. This is only an illusion. You are two old souls who believe you cannot live an ordinary life. Why put restrictions on yourself? Learn to make ordinary moments extraordinary. Once you have mastered this, the Hermit denotes a partnership where you feel like you are one person, not two, so deep is the connection seen in the Hermit.

The Hermit wants to stand out and be on the top of the world. The Hermit stirs people up and makes them take action. You might feel drawn to activism while in a Hermit-relationship. It is like the two of you against the rest of the world. The two of you want to reject everything that is common and mainstream. Because of this, the Hermit can denote a relationship that suffers financially. You might even feel drawn to live in a remote part of the world. The Hermit almost always denotes letting go of an old way of life in search of a deeper meaning. If you are single and looking for love, the Hermit will show up as a mentor in your life to teach you about how to be more connected with yourself. Once you have mastered this you might not feel the same way about relationships, or you can only be with a certain type of person. Integrity is perhaps the most important aspect of the Hermit. This relationship will be of high integrity. You rather spend time alone than with people with a low vibration. The Hermit is most happy when he/she can write, ponder about life, read about philosophy and spend time in nature. The Hermit is a deep thinker who has done it all. To be satisfied the Hermit has to up their game. If you want to be with the Hermit you cannot afford to be too self-centered. The Hermit will see straight through you. If you are in a relationship with the Hermit you might lose a few friends. If you are the Hermit then you must attract someone who can walk alone with you free from longing back to the comfort of our society. The Hermit denotes a relationship that will grow stronger over time.

Hi Inger, I redid this reading as you suggested a while back about encouraging a relationship using the cc. 7cup,9swords,5 coins, 6 swords,3 coins, 7 coins, 4 swords, king cups, 6 cups, hermit. I don’t understand IT appears i being told I will still need to be patient due to my own confusion even though I know what I want is healthy and committed relationship! The outcome really through me as I have already been doing a lot of soul searching and personal improvement as for the 6 of cups the person I was interested in has categorically told me he is not interested and nor will his feelings change. Can you shed any light on this for me please and thank you.

Your soulmate is showing up here as King of cups and the Hermit. This is the same person. This card combination shows up when you will fall in love with someone who is also your friend. You will most likely be friends first.

Thank you so much for the clarification. Seeing as though I do not have any male friends (that I can think of romantically) I will have to assume I have not met him yet. Once again thank you! You’re awesome!

Hi, You most likely have not met him yet. You can time when you are most likely to meet by putting out one card per month and look out for the Hermit or King of cups.

    Hi Inger,
I love your interpretation on this card in regards to love. I did a 3 card spread regarding the near future outcome of a new love interest and I got the Page of Wands, Hermit and Temperance. Any thoughts? BTW, we have not met in the physical yet, BUT we both definitely feel we have shared many past lives. Thank you for your help.

Hi. The Hermit next to Temperance can indicate that you must take your time to really get to know this person, and not to rush into anything.

  11. Angie April 17, 2017 at 7:32 am

Hi Inga. We definitely are taking the time to get to know each other, because we are long distance. He is planning to visit me for the first time the end of this month. How do you think this will be? I am excited and have butterflies in the stomach:))) Thank you for your help.

  12. Angie April 18, 2017 at 4:33 am

So sorry….I meant to type INGER…Damn Mercury Retrograde!….LOL….BTW, I got 4 of Wands and 7 of Cups for his visit. (Definitely not too much drinking. We are both Clean and Sober) It looks like a wonderful celebration and some fantasy involved;-) Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you!

Hi. I feel like you will develop this relationship over time, and you might worry about the future. 7 of cups can mean you will go back and forth a bit in your mind. 4 of wands is telling you to take the time to enjoy it without feeling you have to make any major decisions straight away.

  14. Angie April 18, 2017 at 4:56 am

Thank you so much! That makes perfect sense. So, following your generous advice, I am going to enjoy the time with him and let go of attachment to outcome:)))

    Hi Inger,
I try to post this again, in the hope of your answer. If i won’t get, i I will accept it.:)
A boy from my past appeared suddenly.(it was a short -term thing) It was only a random meeting on the street.(He had previously lived in another town) I felt, and i steel feel that he is my soulmate-just he was not ready for me…
We are both in relationships, but I asked my cards, why he popped up again in my life.
The reason is: The Hermit reversed
What we have to do with each other: Three of Cups
His feelings when he saw me: Two of Wands reversed, Six of Wands
Will he look for me in the near future? Ace of Wands reversed
His relationship with his girlfriend: The Death reversed and the Empress
His feelings toward her: Chariot and The High Priestess reversed
Should I look for him, or stay passive? Queen of Swords reversed
(I interpret reversed cards in these questions as “no”. What do you think about it?)
What does he want from me: Four of Pentacles reversed
An advice from the cards: Ten of Cups reversed
Our future (communication, contact, friendship or anything else) Ace of Cups
    A summary card: The Sun

    What’s your opinion?

    Thanks: Nora

p.s: Thank you for your page. It’s so good to be here. 🙂

  16. Inger Bråthen April 24, 2017 at 11:13 am

With all the reversed cards it can be a good idea not to make any decisions to connect with him at this stage as it can ruin what you have in your current relationship.
