What do the Wands tarot cards tell us in a reading

Many wands in a reading can denote a time for spiritual awakening and restlessness. We burn up from the inside out as we become more enlighten and eventually a full rebirth happens. In a reading dominated by wands, tarot cards can indicate a time where you are very active physically, maybe too active and you need to make sure you don’t overdo it. Fatigue and burnouts can become a consequence. Our health is our wealth. Balance is the key.

    Dear Inger,

I’d like to ask your opinion about an ex-spread.
(He was not realy my partner, because he was-is married. So it was “only” a big platonic love, with a lot of suffering, and longing and a realy hurtfull end…. But nowadays he is always on my mind, and I feel the same on his part. The connection…)

    The questions:

Do we have anything more to do with each other?
    Seven of wands

Does he want anything from me/What does he want from me?

    Five of Wands reversed

Will it be any kind of relationship between us?
    Queen of Wands reversed

What does he feel about me?
Ace of Swords and Wheel of Fortune

( and first the Six of Cups jumped out of the deck)

    Have a wonderful weekend!

It seems like you both are reminiscing about the relationship. There seems to be a connection, however, queen of wands reversed can indicate that he must first completely break it off with his wife before you can be together. If he is not willing to do this, learn from this relationship, and know that the Creator will bring you love in a way that is not causing you pain.

    Hi Inger,

I really appreciate your analysis of card combinations. They’ve been extremely helpful!

The 1st 2 Weeks of July overall was The King of Wands

but when broken down – these three cards came up

    The Sun (reversed)
    8 of Swords
    The Hermit (reversed)

I would love to know your interpretation of this combination.

    Thank you once again!

I asked if my relationship with the man I have been seeing of 7 months will work out..

Thank you so much for your insight as I am learning Tarot !!!!!!!! We have a strong connection but also confusion.

    Celtic Spread.

    1 Judgement in R
    2 9 of swords
    3 3 of cups
    4 Sun
    5 The chariot
6 King of Wands in R
    7 The Devil
8 The Hanged Man in R
    9 The Hierophant
    10 Strength *

*pulled 3 additional cards for the outcome: 7 of swords, 2 of Wands, 4 of Wands
**10 of Pentacles bottom of deck

  5. Inger Bråthen May 22, 2017 at 10:27 am

Hi, I feel it most likely will work out if you can both let go of the past. Let the past be in the past so to speak, as Judgement reversed indicates the past is playing an unhealthy part of your present and it could be jeopardising your happiness.

  6. Emily T Weiskopf May 24, 2017 at 6:08 am

Thank you!!!! I love him. I did the true love spread today and the 2 of cups was the outcome card. I agree, we need to let go of our past in order to make our future possible. Thanks again Inger.

    Hi Inger!

I did a 4 +1 spread asking if I was going to have a relationship with this guy I just started seeing. I got

1 Reversed Knight of wands (representing me in the situation)
2 Four of pentacles (representing him)
3 Seven of cups (representing the current situation)
4 Page of swords (representing the outcome)

5 The star in Reverse (representing advice)

Not sure if I’m understanding this right, does it mean he likes me, but I’ll have to be patient?

Thanks taking the time to read this!! I really like him!

  8. Inger Bråthen October 2, 2017 at 6:45 pm

You get reversed knight of wands which means you are holding back and not sure. He gets four of pentacles so he is most likely conservative and a bit stubborn. Page of swords means you will have a lot in common when it comes to your intellectual compatibility. I do think you will take your time to decide because the star showed up reversed, which can mean you doubt if there can be a future.
